LG has unveiled the world’s first “wallpaper” TV — which features a flexible, super-thin screen that’s so light, it can be mounted to the wall by magnets.
The Signature OLED W TVs are fully-bendable and are expected to be available later this year in 65-inch and 77-inch versions, according to Forbes.
They weigh just 18 and 27 pounds, respectively, and feature screens that are a measly 4mm deep. The TVs come with just one cable that connects to a sound bar, which contains all of the screen’s electronics and processing. Forbes reported that the 65W7 is due to launch in April, with a US price tag of a little less than $8,000.
