Based out of San Francisco, BoomCase’s founding principles were to make a set of speakers that sounded great and didn’t need to have its batteries replaced constantly. In the 6 years that this company has been around, they’ve followed through with that promise with a wide array of handmade boomboxes – and the uniquely designed Signal Corps Vintage US Army version is no exception.
The setup comes with a 50 watt amp, two full range 4-inch speakers, and vintage dome tweeters in a steel case that resembles an ammo box. Built in Sacramento, California, this sucker is built to run for up to 18 hours without needing to be recharged. When you buy one of these, it comes complete with a battery charger and aux cable. You can get this boombox with a shoulder strap for an extra $40, and Bluetooth connectivity for an extra $45, while the whole package goes for $575.
