Karl Largerfeld is known for many things not least of which are his sketches which are eventually brought to life as stylish ensembles. To create his beautiful and detailed fashion illustrations, Karl uses only the finest tools: a set of Faber-Castell color pencils. And now, the designer is taking his relationship with the brand to a new level with the launch of a new limited edition set of drawing tools called Karlbox. The kit includes a staggering 350 tools for drawing and painting including the brand’s Albrecht Dürer pencils, Polychromos color pencils, Pitt ink pens and Castell 9000 graphite pencils along with brushes, a foldable cup, erasers and sharpeners. These items are collected in a gorgeous black cabinet that features pull out drawers for each set of tools. Only 2,500 such kits have been created and they are to be sold exclusively at Faber-Castell stores, Karl Lagerfeld boutiques and Harrods in London. Each kit is priced at €2,500 or $2,850.
