BOB GRILLSON WOOD PELLET GRILL

Friday, February 3rd, 2012

Who would have thought that the secret to great-tasting grilled food was electricity? The Bob Grillson Wood Pellet Grill ($TBA) makes a convincing case, using traditional power to burn up wooden pellets that give your food a signature flavor without the need to build an actual fire. It also sports an oiled bamboo tray for chopping, prepping, and beer-holding, a delightfully modern design, large golf caddy wheels for easy mobility, cast-iron, porcelain enameled grates, an electronic temperature control, and an integrated thermometer. What else would you expect from the only grill that has a first and last name?

LG French Door Bottom Freezer Refrigerator with Blast Chiller

Monday, January 16th, 2012

When you’re sitting down to watch the game, there’s nothing more frustrating than realizing you don’t have any cold ones at the ready. What’s a parched sports fan to do? If you’ve got the newest smart fridge from LG, you’re in luck.

Whereas most fridges feature dual-storage drawers at the bottom, this baby reserves the lower-right quadrant for a blast chiller that’ll frost up your canned beverage of choice in just five minutes. Typical refrigerators take a glacial 40 minutes to get your beer, or soda, to chilly drinkability, so you’re saving valuable minutes here that could be better spent cheering your favorite team.

RETRO SERIES 3-IN-1 BREAKFAST STATION

Monday, January 9th, 2012

Whipping up a quick breakfast, replete with eggs, toast and coffee probably isn’t a challenge for most people.  Just toss a pan on the stove, some water in the coffee maker, bread in the toaster and you’re in business.  But not everybody can afford that luxury.  In fact, you might reside in a bachelor apartment, which often only includes a sink and a fridge.   Enter the Retro Series 3-in-1 Breakfast Station.

On board you’ve got yourself a dual shelf toaster oven, a non-stick hotplate for cooking up eggs and sausage, and a coffee maker capable of churning out 4 cups of Joe at a time.  You could opt for an updated version of this device, but they probably wouldn’t fit in to what is inevitably your 1930s Hollywood bachelor or bungalow apartment.

A retailer on Amazon sells this breakfast machine for $77.
